Here you configure which sequence numbers are used by default for book entries, people and articles in the inventory.

However, if you have set a sequence number in an article category, then that number will be used and not the default one. The same is true for people categories.

Sequence numbers for order documents are only configured in the corresponding category, there is no default sequence number.
